| Job Description | Responsibilities:
• Prescription Screening: Accurately review and screen prescriptions for appropriateness.
• Drug Filling and Dispensing: Prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions.
• Medication Counseling: Provide comprehensive counseling to patients regarding their medications, including usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Stock Management: Manage the inventory of medications, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
• Patient Service: Serve patients by preparing medications and giving pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Monitoring Drug Therapies: Monitor patient drug therapies, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
• Controlled Substances Management: Maintain records for controlled substances and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Inventory Control: Remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of all medications dispensed and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
• Licensing: Valid state pharmacist license (or must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in prescription screening and drug dispensing.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a patient-centric approach.
• Technology Skills: Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and tools. |
