Description:
Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations and staff assignments
Provide clinical oversight and ensure quality patient care delivery
Assess patient care needs and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
Monitor compliance with nursing standards, policies, and state/federal regulations
Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline of nursing staff
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to Registered Nurses and support staff
Review and maintain accurate medical and nursing documentation
Respond to medical emergencies and complex clinical situations
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
Promote patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
