Description:
✔ Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, intestines, pancreas, liver).
✔ Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, EGD, biopsies, and related therapeutic interventions.
✔ Provide consultation services, patient education, and coordinate care with other health professionals.
✔ Supervise, teach, and support medical trainees and residents (may be part of duties).
✔ May participate in clinical leadership activities within the Specialty Service.
