The Clinical Midwife Manager 2 (CMM2) – Ultrasound plays a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and management of activity and resources within the Ultrasound Department. Key responsibilities include quality assurance, effective resource and workforce management, staff development, practice development, facilitation of communication, and the provision of professional and clinical leadership.
The CMM2 – Ultrasound provides expert clinical leadership and specialist support to staff within Maternity Services. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality, specialised ultrasound services as part of a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment, meeting the needs of women throughout pregnancy, the postnatal period, and in gynaecological assessment.
