Description:
Filling prescriptions for patients based on doctor orders, ensuring the correct medication, dosage, and instructions are provided.
Reviewing and managing patients' medication profiles to prevent harmful drug interactions, ensure the effectiveness of treatment, and monitor for adverse effects.
In some cases, preparing custom medications for patients when commercially available options are not suitable.
Keeping detailed and accurate records of prescriptions, medication dispensed, and patient interactions for legal, safety, and healthcare continuity purposes.
Keeping current with new medications, treatments, and pharmaceutical developments to provide the best care possible.
