Description:
The ideal candidate will hold current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) and have a minimum of three (3) years of recent, relevant experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD) or Operating Room environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Applicants should demonstrate strong knowledge of purchasing principles and inventory management, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and well-developed decision-making and analytical abilities. The role requires the capacity to work effectively with diverse teams, organize and prioritize workloads, and possess the physical ability to perform required duties. Proficiency in operating medical equipment, computers, and related software is essential, as is the ability to teach, coach, supervise staff, and collaborate within interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
