Description:
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and be actively registered or eligible for full (non-provisional) registration with the appropriate regulatory college. Applicants should have at least five years of experience in mental health assessment and intervention, including psychosocial interventions, along with recent clinical experience working in multidisciplinary mental health and addiction teams. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and BLS-C (Basic Life Support – Rescuer) certification are required or must be obtained immediately. Preference will be given to professionals with two or more years of recent supervisory experience, strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills, and proven expertise in mental health and addiction services, making this an excellent opportunity for senior mental health practitioner and leadership roles in Alberta.
