Description:
Applicants must hold active registration and a valid practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) and bring a minimum of five years’ recent leadership experience, including the last three years in surgery, acute care, operating room, or emergency settings. Candidates should also have at least five years of clinical experience within the past ten years across areas such as general surgery, general medicine, combined medical–surgical units, acute or sub-acute care, with education and experience equivalencies considered. The ideal candidate will demonstrate progressive healthcare leadership, strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills, a client-focused approach, and proven ability to lead teams, make confident decisions, mentor staff, and drive high-quality patient care, making this an excellent opportunity for registered nurse leadership and healthcare management roles in Alberta.
