Description:
Responsible in the management of nursing care and personnel for the effective operation of the nursing service.
Supervision of patient care
Checks the Head nurse’s plan for patient care and sees to it that they are properly executed.
Keeps herself informed of patient’s needs and problems.
Reinforces health instructions given to patients and their families as the need arises.
Verifies implementation of requests of referrals to evaluate continuity of care.
Serves as consultant and adviser to the Head nurse in developing, devising and adopting work techniques and methods for the solution of problem related to patient care.
