Description:
Candidates must hold a post-secondary diploma in a related field and be eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer (CPO) in Alberta, with relevant education or experience accepted on a one-for-one equivalency basis. A high school diploma or equivalent, valid PARE, and the ability to deliver low- and high-intensity physical training sessions are essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, work independently with minimal supervision, and possess a valid Alberta Class 5 (non-GDL) driverβs license. Preferred qualifications include Solicitor General Control Tactics Instructor (CTI) certification and experience teaching CPOIP, CSIT, SIT, or other law-enforcement induction and safety training programs, making this a strong fit for experienced Officer Safety and Law Enforcement Trainers in Alberta.
