The Registered Nurse – PACU provides specialised nursing care to patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include airway and haemodynamic monitoring, pain and nausea management, early complication detection, and collaboration with anaesthetists and surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality post-anaesthetic recovery.
