Description:
The Hospital Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within the healthcare facility by validating medical prescriptions through electronic patient records, managing medication supply and controlled drugs, and overseeing the traceability of medical devices. The role involves active participation in clinical pharmacy activities such as medication reconciliation, patient counseling, and support of therapeutic care pathways, while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The pharmacist contributes to quality improvement initiatives, hospital committees, and certification processes, supervises pharmacy students and interns, and ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Participation in on-call duties and continuous professional development is also an integral part of the position.
