Description:
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 education and possess a minimum of two (2) years of recent, relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accurate keyboarding skills of at least 45 words per minute (w.p.m.) and a solid working knowledge of medical terminology, supported by excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proven capability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative teams, along with the ability to supervise staff, organize and prioritize workload, and maintain the physical capacity to perform job-related duties, is essential. Experience in operating office and clinical equipment efficiently within a fast-paced healthcare environment further supports success in this role.
