Description:
Lead the Anesthesia Division of the surgical and clinical services.
Ensure high-quality anesthesia care in line with VA policies and national standards.
Supervise, coach, and evaluate anesthesia team members (physicians, CRNAs).
Oversee preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthetic management, post-anesthesia care.
Coordinate with surgical teams, emergency departments, and other clinical services.
Develop systems for quality improvement, safety, and efficiency.
Maintain clinical practice and lead strategic vision for the service.
Participate in administrative duties, accreditation readiness, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Provide clinical anesthetic care with safe airway management and monitoring.
