Description:
Candidates must hold current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC) and possess a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential, or demonstrate the ability to successfully complete CDE certification within three (3) years of hire. Applicants should bring a minimum of two (2) years of recent, relevant clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, such as insulin dose adjustment competency or completion of the Diabetes Educator Certificate Program from the Michener Institute. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge in diabetes management and education, excellent patient counselling and education skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Proven strengths in assessment, care planning, critical thinking, organization, and effective communication are essential for delivering high-quality, patient-centred diabetes care.
