Reporting to the Coordinator, Nutrition Services, the Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating medical nutrition therapy for hospital- and facility-based patients in accordance with established Nutrition Services guidelines, while providing nutrition education and counselling to patients and families on dietary requirements, therapeutic nutrition plans, and food preparation. Candidates must hold a Bachelorβs degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from a recognized university, have completed an accredited dietetic internship, and maintain current practicing licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC), with eligibility for membership in Dietitians of Canada (DC). Preferred applicants will have practical experience as a Registered Dietitian and demonstrate ongoing professional development.
