Candidates must hold a Bachelorβs degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from a recognized university, have completed an accredited dietetic internship, and maintain current full practicing licensure as a Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC), including Restricted Activities A and B. Applicants should bring a minimum of two (2) years of recent, relevant experience in a medical and/or surgical care setting, along with Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) certification from the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A strong commitment to ongoing professional development is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledge of enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy, feeding tube access and delivery methods, and the ability to assess, interpret, and make evidence-based nutrition recommendations. Proven skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, care coordination with healthcare teams, food services, and community agencies, and the ability to build effective working relationships with patients, families, and medical professionals are key to success in this specialized clinical dietitian role.
