The HSE has established six Health Regions, each responsible for the planning, resourcing, and delivery of integrated hospital and community health and social care services. This approach supports a more patient-centred model of care by bringing services closer to the communities they serve.
The HSE Dublin and North East Region provides health and social care services to North Dublin, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, and most areas of Cavan. Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown, located in North Dublin, is a Model 3 major teaching hospital delivering a comprehensive range of acute services, including:

Care is delivered through multidisciplinary teams comprising medical, nursing, allied health professionals, management, administration, and general support staff, who are central to the development, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of services.
