There is currently one permanent, part-time (0.5 WTE) vacancy within the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (CNRT), located at Block B, Civic Centre, Main Street, Bray, Co. Wicklow.
A panel may be formed from this campaign for the post of Dietitian, Clinical Specialist – HSE Dublin South & Wicklow, from which current and future permanent and specified-purpose vacancies of full-time or part-time duration may be filled.
Purpose of the Post
The Dietitian, Clinical Specialist is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred dietetic service within the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team.
The post holder will:
Provide and deliver a specialist nutrition and dietetic service to individuals with acquired and progressive neurological conditions, in accordance with professional standards and best practice.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate, develop, and enhance services in response to the needs of the population served and in line with organisational objectives.
Work in conjunction with the Dietitian Manager to ensure the coordinated development and delivery of a client-centred dietetic service across and between networks within the geographical area.
Undertake clinical, educational, and administrative duties as required.
Practice autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary community-based team.
Act as a specialist resource, providing expert advice, guidance, and professional support to dietetic colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
