Description:
Candidates must hold current full practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and have successfully completed a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing, or possess a minimum of two (2) years of recent, relevant emergency or acute care experience. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong knowledge of nursing theory and evidence-based practice within a patient- and family-centred model of care, along with a thorough understanding of BCCNM standards for professional nursing practice. Proven expertise in emergency nursing care, including comprehensive patient assessment, effective interviewing skills, care planning and implementation, and the ability to evaluate patient responses and respond appropriately in dynamic clinical situations, is essential for success in this role.
