Description:
✔ Assisting Veterans with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, feeding, toileting, transferring, and turning.
✔ Helping maintain a safe physical environment and recognizing/reporting hazardous conditions.
✔ Taking and charting vital signs (e.g., height, weight).
✔ Performing routine nursing procedures like hygiene care, catheter care, colostomy care, oral suctioning, and assisting with supplemental oxygen therapy.
✔ Engaging Veterans in meaningful activities and restorative programs.
✔ Observing and documenting physical and emotional responses and reporting changes to nursing staff.
