Description:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.
Conduct evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and follow-up care across outpatient and potentially inpatient settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mental health professionals, psychologists, social workers, nurses) to ensure coordinated care.
Utilize evidence-based clinical practices and adhere to VA policies and clinical guidelines.
Ability to participate in consults, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement activities as part of the psychiatric service line
