Description:
Essential Criteria
Candidates must, by the closing date for applications, meet the following requirements:
1. Professional Qualifications and Experience
Eligible applicants must satisfy one of the following criteria:
(i) Hold the Pharmaceutical Technicians Diploma awarded by the University of Dublin
Or
(ii) Hold a Pharmacy Technician qualification at QQI Level 6 awarded by one of the following Institutes of Technology, or an equivalent institution:
Dublin Institute of Technology, Athlone IT, Letterkenny IT, Carlow IT, Munster IT, Shannon IT
Or
(iii) Hold the Pharmacy Services Certificate (NVQ Level 3) awarded by the Irish Pharmaceutical Union
Or
(iv) Be currently employed as a Pharmacy Technician within the publicly funded health service
Or
(v) Hold a relevant qualification deemed equivalent to those listed in points (ii) or (iii)
2. Competence
Candidates must demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and professional ability, including a high standard of suitability, to effectively discharge the duties of the role.
