Description: 1. Responsible for carrying out high standard of nursing care and treatment of her patients during her shift. 2. Receive shift report of the patients details and condition and render care appropriately. 3. Visit every patient, assess condition, and implement nursing care plan to achieve satisfactory clinical outcomes. 4. Take and document the vital signs of the patient and inform the relevant doctor of any abnormalities. 5. Responsible for collection of specimens when ordered, ensuring correct labeling. 6. Follow medical staff rounds and assist by giving relevant information as regards to nursing observations made on the patients. Assist the medical staff in procedures. 7. Ensure consultants orders are carried before the end of each shift. 8. Administer medications to patient according to standard operating procedure.
