Description: Check the suction and diathermy machines for cleanliness and good working order Check operating lights for clarity and good functioning Clean, check and prepare operating table and accessories Prepare the operating room for each patient scheduled on the operating list Assist in the safe transfer of patient from trolley to operating table and vice versa Assist in positioning the patient Assist surgeon in application of tourniquet Adjust and focus the operating lights and assist nurses in patient care
