Description: Basic knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques Conduct mandatory patient checks including informed consent, patient identity and operation site prior to the start of procedure Conduct mandatory surgical checks prior to the start of the procedure, during and pre wound closure. Responded to surgical emergency requirements such as cardiac, pulmonary or respiratory failure and hemorrhage. Ensuring completion of all competencies and orientation checklist within stipulated time frame.
