Description: Management of department to ensure efficient and effective daily operational activities. It is achieved by: · Anticipating potential risk and execute appropriate action to ensure safe environment i.e. assist to monitor and ensure nurses practice and adhere to infection control guidelines and policy. · Demonstrating operational knowledge of nursing procedure and assist to guide nurses as required. · Assuming leadership role for others and assist them with their responsibilities in the unit. · Work as part of a health care team, assist to guide nurses to assess patient needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.
