Description: SICU serves as an overflow unit for trauma and medical patients. Procedures and care provided include, but are not limited to: invasive hemodynamic monitoring, chest tubes, venous thrombolytics, arterial alteplase, ventilator management, arterial lines tracheostomy care (acute and chronic), EEG monitoring, external and temporary pacer, CRRT utilization, EKOS catheter-directed and ultrasound thrombolysis.
