Nurse Manager (Operating Theatre

Description: Develop, support, and ensure the smooth operation of clinical services within the nursing unit Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care Support the development and retention of nursing staff in collaboration with the Nursing Education and Human Resources teams Coordinate, implement, and oversee staff orientation, in-service training, and continuous professional development programs Effectively communicate the hospital’s vision, mission, and core values to all nursing staff Assess and maintain an appropriate skill mix and competency profile within the nursing unit Ensure that clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines are current, compliant, and effectively guide nursing practice Lead, promote, and facilitate patient safety, clinical risk management, and incident reporting, including participation in hospital occurrence reviews and analysis of clinical incident data Serve as a mentor, coach, and counselor to nursing staff, demonstrating exemplary leadership, professionalism, and teamwork Deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure the implementation of safe clinical practices across the unit Monitor patient experience and address quality and service concerns, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up Foster strong collaborative relationships with clinical leaders, management teams, frontline staff, patients, families, and the wider community Maintain effective communication with medical staff, patients, and their families to support coordinated care Maintain and enhance nursing practice standards through active participation in quality improvement and clinical governance programs Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives
