Key duties include examining patients, interpreting X-rays, creating treatment plans, fitting and adjusting appliances, conducting regular check-ups, educating patients on oral hygiene, and collaborating with other dental professionals. Key Responsibilities Diagnosis: Examining patients, taking X-rays, impressions, and other scans to identify malocclusions (bad bites) and facial anomalies. Treatment Planning: Developing personalized plans using braces, clear aligners, headgear, retainers, and other devices. Appliance Management: Fitting, adjusting, and tightening orthodontic hardware. Patient Care: Explaining treatment, ensuring patient comfort, and teaching proper oral hygiene. Progress Monitoring: Scheduling regular follow-ups to track treatment progress and make necessary adjustments. Collaboration: Working with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists for comprehensive care. Compliance: Following industry guidelines, regulations, and practice policies.
