Description: An Obstetrician & Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for managing comprehensive women’s healthcare, covering obstetrics and gynecology through accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, surgical intervention, and patient counseling. The role involves providing high-quality medical care across all stages of a woman’s reproductive life, from adolescence through pregnancy, childbirth, and menopause. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Deliver comprehensive clinical care to obstetric and gynecological patients at all stages of reproductive health. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being through compassionate and ethical medical practice. Diagnosis and Treatment Diagnose and manage disorders related to the female reproductive system, breasts, and hormonal health. Perform routine examinations, screenings, and preventive health checks, including Pap smears and breast examinations. Surgical Procedures Perform gynecological and obstetric surgeries, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and procedures for cysts, fibroids, and other conditions. Provide perioperative and postoperative care in accordance with clinical standards.
