Description: Candidates for this IBD Clinical Nurse Specialist role should be RGN qualified with a first-level nursing degree (or working toward one) and strong evidence of continued professional development. Ideally, applicants will bring Masters-level study, experience in audit and research, and advanced training such as Non-Medical Prescribing, physical assessment and consultation skills, and advanced communication and teaching abilities. You will have post-registration experience at Band 5 or above, preferably within Gastroenterology or IBD care, including at least six months dedicated IBD experience, multidisciplinary teamwork, and proven ability to support patients with complex inflammatory bowel disease. Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, along with leadership and management exposure, will be highly desirable and will support progression within this specialist NHS role.
