Description: Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under PRN (as-needed) schedule. Practice according to policies and Alabama Nurse Practice Act (if NP) or PA licensure, including patient assessment, diagnosis, ordering/performing tests and procedures, prescribing treatments/medications. Coordinate patient care and referrals; provide education to patients/families. Document patient interactions accurately in the clinical system. Respond professionally to overhead pages and team communication.
