Description: Candidates must hold a degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics and be a Registered Dietitian with the HCPC, with evidence of recent, relevant continuing professional development (CPD). Desirable credentials include clinical supervision training and membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA). Essential experience includes comprehensive undergraduate clinical training and recent practice in relevant specialties such as neurology or home enteral feeding, while desirable experience includes working as a Band 5 Dietitian in hospital or community settings, along with teaching, training, and community or voluntary sector involvement. Applicants should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously and manage workloads effectively, proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office, and proven capability to deliver patient education and implement evidence-based dietetic assessments and interventions using the BDA Model and Process for Nutrition and Dietetic Practice, applying sound clinical reasoning.
