Diagnose and Treat STD's/ STI's: Precise testing, clear diagnosis, and private medical support. Provide sex education: Educate individuals and couples on topics such as sexual anatomy, healthy practices, consent, and the impact of health conditions on sexual function. Offer guidance on gender and identity: Create a safe space for clients to explore their sexual orientation and gender identity. Work with trauma survivors: Provide therapy and support for individuals who have experienced sexual trauma. Collaborate with other professionals: Work with healthcare practitioners, community agencies, and the legal system to ensure comprehensive client care. Develop treatment plans: Create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using various therapeutic techniques, including behavioral methods and mindfulness. Maintain confidentiality: Handle all client information with discretion and respect to build a trusting relationship.
