Pharma Work Experience: Proven experience as a pharmacist Job Description: Prayag Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Noida. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in managing and dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug usage, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals in patient care. You will be responsible for maintaining drug inventories, complying with regulatory standards, and contributing to overall patient well-being. In this role, you will be responsible for the ordering, storing, and security of drugs, ensuring an adequate supply at all times. You will provide valuable information and advice to patients about medications, including side effects, dosage, and storage. Additionally, you will keep accurate records, maintain the pharmacy's cleanliness, and manage patient records and billing. Responsibilities: • Order, store, and secure medications in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. • Provide accurate information and advice on drugs, including side effects, dosage, and proper storage to patients and healthcare professionals. • Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring correct dosage and safety. • Maintain separate records for specified medicines as per drug regulations, and manage expired or damaged stock appropriately. • Keep the pharmacy clean and maintain prescribed temperature conditions, adhering to procedures and regulations. • Update patient records and bills, and generate reports as needed for administrative purposes. • Ensure compliance with FDA rules and regulations and other relevant pharmaceutical guidelines. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication management and patient care. • Monitor medication inventories and place orders to maintain an adequate supply. • Utilize pharmacy software applications effectively, including MEDITECH and Mediware, to manage patient and inventory records. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology (B. Pharma / D. Pharma). • Proven experience as a pharmacist with a detailed understanding of dosage requirements and pharmaceutical brands. • Valid license to practice as a pharmacist. • Knowledge of chemical compounds, pharmaceutical brands, and FDA rules & regulations. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software applications, such as MEDITECH and Mediware. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams. • Good knowledge of drugs and their interactions to ensure safe and effective patient care.
